Come learn about and practice the game of chess!

All levels and ages are welcome. There will be a short class about the basics of the game and then time to play afterwards.

David Hubbard is the Founder and President of the Shenandoah Valley Chess Club in Winchester, Virginia and a Certified Coach and Tournament Director with the United States Chess Federation.

Since 2013 David has hosted chess competitions and learning sessions for all ages and skill levels at Handley Regional Library and Shenandoah University. 

There has never been a better time to learn and enjoy the Royal Game!
