Join us for an evening of live music from Mike& Jo and opening musician Marc Harper!
Marc Harper:
Marc Harper caught the wandering troubadour bug early in life, and has long since given up looking for a cure. A native of Baltimore, Marc originally trained as a classical pianist, and has spent decades broadening his instrumental and writing influences, while gaining inspiration from the people and stories he has found while living throughout much of the US and Canada. In and around following the music, he has pursued careers as varied as counseling, animal rescue and IT consulting. Marc has somewhat settled down in the Potomac Highlands of eastern West Virginia, but is always looking for new roads to ride, new folks to meet, and new tales to tell.
‘Days Like This’, from his most recent CD ‘Heading For The Hills’, was recently listed on the Nashville Songwriters’ Association International “Ones to Watch” list.
Mike&Jo:
Mike&Jo are a folk-rock duo whose original songs are inspired by places, people, and experiences from their travels around the U.S.A. Soulful harmonies, hard-hitting acoustic guitar, and tongue twisting lyrics will pull in any listener to the deeper message of their original songs.
