Come join us for an Introduction to Fly Fishing hosted by the Friends of the Cacapon River, Trout Unlimited, and the River House.
We are offering two sessions on July 13th, a 9 am-12 pm class and a 1-4 PM class. Each class will be taught by Ryan Cooper of Trout Unlimited with a number of volunteer fly fishermen to back him up! The class consists of 45 minutes of land-based instruction on river ecology, fly fishing mechanics and dry casting. Following the land-based instruction, you will practice fly fishing in the Cacapon River.

Please come appropriately dressed for the weather including some type of river shoes. All attendees are encouraged to purchase a 1 day WV fishing license from https://wvdnr.gov/fishing/.
