To celebrate our birthday, we are hosting TWO great bands for ONE awesome concert!
7-8pm: Raincrow
8-9:30pm: Jack Dunlap and Robert Mabe
Tickets: $10 in advance/$12 at the door
Brief Bios:
Raincrow- George Constantz, on drums, Christov Ashton on bass, Russ Johnston on lead guitar, Steve Bailes on rhythm guitar, and maybe Jim Morris on lead guitar, love to get together to play 50's-60's vintage rock and roll. When folks are moved to get up and dance or sing along with the old tunes-- that makes it even more fun. Over the years, we've been privileged to play with some different guys, but we have always been blessed to with a great bunch of guys.
Jack Dunlap & Robert Mabe have been touring the country together since 2019. Both masters of their instruments, they play a mix of original tunes, classic bluegrass numbers, jazz favorites and covers anyone would recognize. With roots planted firmly in bluegrass, they stretch their sound in ways that all audiences will enjoy and leave the performance wanting more.

A few years ago I was checking with a local establishment about a possible gig. Yuri replied, (read this with a slight slavic accent) "I don't need a band. I need band followers." When the Hampshire Review nominated Rain Crow for a "Moving Us Forward" title, it hit me how insightful Yuri was. The folks who come out to listen to us play are what "makes it."
The Hampshire Review asked it's readers which of 4 individuals and 2 groups had done the most to help the community. A bunch of old guys (Rain Crow) get together and play the old Rock & Roll tunes they love-- no big deal. But when the community comes out and financially supports so many worthy benefits, those same guys get much of the acclaim. So, from the bottom of my heart, (liver, and spleen), we thank you-- the community-- for the continued generous support you supply.
