The Cacapon Riverfest is scheduled for Friday, June 17 & Saturday, June 18 at The River House in Capon Bridge.
Celebrate the river with great music, river activities, and river-themed Art-for-All. Enjoy fun ways to learn more about one of the cleanest rivers in America with local environmental information.
AND lots of summer food and drink!

11 am Welcome, music, food and information tables

Community Art Projects: Color My World theme
Community project: paint mural on the Otter's Den Floor
5th anniversary Tye Dye: Bring in a local tye-dye artist, allow visitors to bring their own items to dye from home.
Workshop: Tye Dyeing led by artists to learn fabric folding and dying techniques.
Boat Race:
Adults: Adults are encourage to build their own vessel that must support 1 adult without sinking in the River. These vessels will need to be made in advance - get to the drawing board!
Children: Our Art-For-All activity will provide the materials for the children to make small boats out of recycled materials and race them in the river!
