Galentine's Day Workshop - Upcycle Your Wardrobe with Embroidery

Come out with your best gal pals and learn how to use surface embroidery and sewing techniques to upcycle your wardrobe! Whether adding fun little details to reflect your personal style or salvaging a favorite piece of clothing by creatively repairing small holes or covering unremovable stains, applying this timeless craft to your clothes has a lot of benefits.

Please bring with you to the workshop one or two items of clothing you'd like to work on. We highly recommend a garment that is made of non-stretch, sturdy fabric such as denim, 100% cotton, or linen. Avoid bringing in knits, spandex, silk, or other high-stretch or delicate fabrics. If you have a specific design in mind, bring with you a printed, to-scale hard copy of the design and we will help you transfer it to your clothing. We will also have a variety of assorted pre-printed designs for you to choose from. Basic supplies such as thread, needles, scissors, and hoops will be provided, however, if you have specific colors you want to use we recommend you bring your own thread. DMC cotton embroidery floss is recommended for its sturdiness and no-run colors. While this workshop will cater to all levels, we recommend you have at least some basic knowledge of hand sewing or embroidery.

    $45 per person

The Cafe will be serving themed drinks and have food specials!
