Fiddlin' Film Fundraiser @ The Alamo

The River House is excited to partner with Alamo Drafthouse Theater for a fun-filled, family-friendly showing of Fiddlin' in support of TRH's arts and music programming. In addition, guests will enjoy live music by some of our own local Old-Time musicians before the show. The River House table will be selling some unique TRH merch. The Cat & The Fiddle, our beloved traditional music school in Capon Bridge, will also have fun merch and information to share. Learn more about the "Music Makers" youth music scholarship programs and how to support young, emerging Appalachian musicians.

Music Makers is a program created in partnership between TRH and The Cat and The Fiddle.

Set in the Appalachian Mountains, FIDDLIN' is a foot-stomping celebration of true Americana profiling the birthplace of Bluegrass and Old-Time music. This hopeful, inspiring documentary shines a light on what is best about America. Filmed at the World's Oldest Fiddler's Convention, Fiddlin' shows the uplifting and healing power of music.
