The Art of Letter Writing has been experiencing a resurgence in the last couple of years. And The River House is happy to again offer an opportunity to keep this art form alive. Last year’s letter writing campaign was a huge success and we invite more folks to sign up this year and experience the joy of communicating via the written word.

 During the winter months (Jan. 16 -Mar. 27) we will be sharing weekly tips on how to improve your letter writing. Everyone is welcome to participate! The letters can be sent to friends, family members and members of the community … sharing your experiences, joys and visions for the future. We’ll encourage ways to be creative, like including pressed flowers, charms or original drawings that help you express your feelings.

For the first fifty folks who sign up, you will receive a packet of stamps, envelopes and other stationary items to help you get started. These packets will be available at The River House or if you can’t get there, we will mail them to you.
