  Singer-songwriter and Berkeley Springs, WV resident Dr. Ross Martin has created a truly unique experience for audiences with his original musical, Miss Isabella Rainsong and Her Traveling Companion: A One-Guitar Show. Part play, part acoustic concert, this show is a vehicle for sharing intimate, profound, and even funny Magical Moments.

  Traveler, who looks more skallywag than sojourner, shares his story with the audience of how he was saved by a guitar and the music they create together while riding the rails across America. 

  Since the show's premiere in January 2018, Miss Isabella Rainsong and Her Traveling Companion has captivated hundreds of delighted audience members in venues from Florida to Connecticut and has received very positive reviews. The show was selected for the 2nd Annual Florida Festival of New Musicals in 2018.

  Peter has been playing music for most of his life – he got his first guitar at age 10.  A singer/songwriter in his own right, he has played many styles of music; been in rock and fusion bands, but has always held an affinity for the music he grew up with and first learned to play – Bob Dylan, Peter Paul and Mary, James Taylor, and John Denver, to name just a few. 

  Peter has often said that playing music is the clearest way he knows to share his heart, and with his voice and signature 12-string guitar he strives to transcend the barrier between artist and audience, and forge a warm connection that is both joyful and uplifting.
