Participants in this hands-on workshop can leave with a log ready to grow shiitake mushrooms in a shady corner of their yard. Sharon and Anthony of local mushroom farm Peasant’s Parcel will provide wood dowels of shiitake spawn and participants will drill holes creating their own shiitake mushroom log. This is a great activity for the whole family and gives your family a unique home food source for several years.
