  Derrick Tea is a solo acoustic performer from Pennsylvania who has made West Virginia home. He came of age in the late 90s/early 2000s listening to bands like Matchbox Twenty, 3 Doors Down, Goo Goo Dolls, and Third Eye Blind. He became a musician at 14 years old after he found his mom's guitar in the garage. He spent several years playing open mics before pursuing his music career more seriously. He booked his first paid gig through The River House and is excited to be releasing his first EP this January.
