The River’s Edge bring their Homegrown Rock music from the Shenandoah Valley to the stage at The River House!
Noah G. Fowler is a singer-songwriter, Guitarist, and Bassist hailing from central Pennsylvania and currently based in Nashville, Tennessee. Well-renowned by his peers, his unique songwriting is the focal point of his distinct Americana. His songwriting is folkloric, drawing heavily from Appalachian and Celtic storytelling traditions as well as the 60’s folk revival and many of Texas’s storytelling songwriters - Willie Nelson, Guy Clark, Townes, Steve Earle - yet it fits comfortably in the context of his generation of songwriters and musicians.
After studying at Berklee College of music, the collective Fowler & Folk was created to unite the various projects and musicians Fowler was involved with. The fall of 2019 and mid-2020 saw several releases of self-recorded and demo tracks while playing sparsely due to the effects of the coronavirus epidemic while writing music for an upcoming Fowler & Folk release.
December 2020 saw the bandcamp release of Masland & Fowler Vol. 1, an EP of fiddle and old time music as well as a demo CD of music written in 2019-2020 as well as a nomination for “Best Folk Band” for the 2nd Central Pennsylvania Music Awards.
